Sergio Trejo's passion for golf began in high school as an Assistant Instructor with the San Francisco Parks and Recreation Youth Golf Program, where he helped develop foundational golf skills for local youth. He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on youth neuro-development, and later returned to the same youth golf program as a Lead Instructor while earning his Masters in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
Sergio initially shifted focus to the service profession, earning his license in psychotherapy (LMFT) and serving the broader Bay Area community. However, his commitment to sports psychology led him back to his roots in athletics. Since 2013, he has dedicated himself to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, assisting practitioners in preparing for competitive challenges.
Sergio aims to integrate his diverse experiences in golf, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and psychotherapy to enhance athletes' mental performance, fostering greater awareness, processing, and focus both in and out of competition.
