I started playing golf at the age of 8 in El Paso, Texas. I took my first golf lesson at the age of 9 at Santa Teresa Country Club by Lee Trevino. Lee was the head golf professional at Santa Teresa and he is the reason why I became a PGA teaching professional. I moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1987 and I have been teaching at some of the most prestigious golf clubs in Scottsdale the past 35 years. Teaching golf is my passion and building lasting relationships is part of that passion.
My philosophy is to have fun with the game and keep the process simple to understand. If you take care of the process, the outcome will be successful. I enjoy teaching all levels of golfers and strive to help them understand the basic fundamental principals that make up the golf swing.
I believe it is essential for us to work together as a team to build a swing that you can easily take onto the course with confidence. Together we can have fun and learn how to enjoy the game of golf. I look forward to seeing you out on the lesson tee and the golf course
